Art also enlivens the cultural scene. Visit our art galleries and see highly regarded original artworks from the likes of famed Florida painter A.E. Backus and the renowned group of African-American sojourning artists collectively called the Florida Highwaymen at the A.E. Backus Museum and Art Gallery. It’s a palette of respected talent found nowhere else. Check out the newly renovated Elliott Museum with its fabulous antique car display and gorgeous works of art.
